Search forms send the name, phone number, or address entered to the third-party provider that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Information Logged Automatically
Our hosting services create ordinary technical logs, including IP address, browser type, visit time, and pages requested. Aggregate patterns help us maintain the site and assess useful pages. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement when used.
How Information Is Used
Technical and contact data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and content updates. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to government portals, Marin County and California offices, libraries, archives, and third-party search tools. Information sent to those services is governed by their policies. The same applies to sponsored results, which come from a separate provider.
When Data May Be Shared
Hosting and support vendors process technical logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic data already described. We may also disclose information in response to valid legal process, but do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection protects data in transit. Server logs remain only as long as needed for the purposes stated here. Since the site has no user accounts, it holds no visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your California Privacy Rights
California residents may have rights to know, correct, or delete covered personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. Because we keep very little, a request will usually concern a contact message or a server log. Submit one through the Contact page. Public records held by Novato, Marin County, or California agencies remain outside our control, so correction or removal requests for those records must go to the custodian.
